Tiger Woods’ troubles just continue to unfold. Global consulting firm Accenture Ltd. has officially cut ties with the pro-golfer, marking the first major sponsor to end its relationship altogether with Woods since his alleged infidelities surfaced and he announced an indefinite leave from golf to try and work on his marriage.
Accenture announced that Woods is “no longer the right representative” after the “circumstances of the last two weeks”. The company’s move ends a 6 year relationship during which the firm credited its “Go on, be a Tiger” campaign with boosting its image significantly.
